The Los Angeles Lakers are on their way to win the fourth consecutive game in the series against the Houston Rockets. This win will take the Lakers to the next level. The team hasn’t made the NBA Finals in years. LeBron James is here to make a change and he chose the right outfit to do so.

The four-time NBA MVP wore a nice outfit in honor of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. LeBron wore this outfit ahead of Game 5 ahead of James Harden and his Rockets.

LeBron uses his bubble appearance to share his believes. We are in the middle of the biggest BLM protests. Millions of people have been protesting against police brutality and social injustice. Kaepernick was the first athlete to take a knee during the national anthem. Many others followed his example, delivering a big message to the system.

LeBron James chose the right outfit to honor Kaepernick’s efforts

Kaepernick started off his tradition ahead of his weekly NFL games. Athletes across the country started taking a knee during the performance of the Star-Spangled Banner.

LeBron has been really supportive of Kaepernick and he is not afraid to speak up. The three-time NBA champion showed up wearing an all-black Kaepernick jersey ahead of LA’s game against the Rockets. This is not the first time for LeBron to do anything like this.

He joined mass protests, using his social media as a platform to send a message. He is seeking answers in an effort to give victims’ families peace. Breonna Taylor died at the hands of the police. A former police officer pressed his knee against George Floyd’s neck which eventually led to his death. LeBron seeks justice for these people. NBA players boycotted the playoffs following another shooting. Many of them even threatened to leave the bubble. The message was delivered and players returned to the floor.

LeBron and his Lakers will try to win the championship all while honoring people like Kaepernick and everyone who fights against social injustice and racism.
