LeBron James almost just took out Austin Rivers in game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The Los Angeles Lakers took down the Houston Rockets in game 5 of Round 2. They one again lost in game one of the first round. This loss came against the Portland Trailblazers.

However, they still have a long way to go before the get back to the NBA Finals for the first time in many years. The Lakers will either be taking on the Los Angeles Clippers or the Denver Nuggets. There was a foul called on Houston guard Austin Rivers against LeBron James, who happens to be the son of Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers. He threw the ball at LeBron and James admonished him for it.

Take a look at the play here:

He could easily have reacted a lot differently and ended in an ejection. However, LeBron was smart to keep his cool.

He talked after the game on what he thought about his play during the series. It was very nice to see him and the team play to the best of their abilities.

“I know what my name, my stature, and what I’ve done in this league come with whenever I decide to join a franchise Started with my first seven years in Cleveland, four years in Miami, back to Cleveland for four more years, and coming to this franchise. I know what my name comes with. And it comes with winning. I take that responsibility more than anything because I am a winner and I have always been a winner, from the first time I played organized basketball.”
