The New England Patriots are lucky to have Rex Burkhead in the game vs Las Vegas Raiders. The Patriots star has an incredible game in Week 3, and head coach bill Belichick is more than proud.

On third-and-3 from Las Vegas’ 11-yard line, with 34 seconds left in the second quarter, the Patriots star took a short pass from veteran quarterback Cam Newton on the right side. He squared his shoulders up the field and did an incredible cut to shock safety Jonathan Abram. Then he rushed forward and went into the red zone over Raiders defensive Nevin Lawson.

Burkhead is a free-agent signing by the New England Patriots in 2017. He is having his first career game with three scrimmage touchdowns when he scored from 2 yards out with 5:17 left of the regulation.

The New England Patriots will rely on Burkhead in the next few games. His talent will be of great help of the team in the 2020 NFL season. The Patriots have entered their first season without Tom Brady, but Cam Newton seems to be a perfect fit for the team.

Head coach Bill Belichick did some great calculations ahead of Week 3, and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels hinted a different approach in the game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Patriots players seem to work in perfect synergy and this win will surely give them the motivation to win more games this season. It’s hard to imagine the team take the field without the legendary quarterback, but from what we can see, the Patriots are doing a really great job on the field at the moment.
