Alex Caruso Delivers Message to Lakers Fans Ahead of NBA Finals Game 2 vs Heat

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing their Game 2 against the Miami Heat, and Alex Caruso has a message for his Lakers fans.

In his three seasons with the Lakers, Caruso has been receiving tons of love from his fans and supporters. The talented player seems to be enjoying all the attention he gets. Playing in front of big crowds feels great, and NBA players live for the moment. Unfortunately, NBA teams had to finish the season inside the Orlando bubble without any fans in attendance. Their families weren’t able to attend games, too.

Caruso really misses his fans. He misses playing at the Staples Center. Things got really great in Orlando, and Lakers players earned the chance to play the big game. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated three teams and made the NBA Finals. They are now playing against the Miami Heat.

Alex Caruso has a message for the greatest Lakers fans

The Lakers point guard went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft before joining the Lakers the following season. In his interview with Justine Termine and Eddie Johnson of “NBA Today Show” on SiriusXM radio, Caruso said he knows how much Lakers fans want to watch their favorite players win. The Lakers have made the NBA Finals for the first time in 10 years and fans would not miss it for anything in this world.

“We hate that we couldn’t be playing in Staples in front of the L.A. faithful,” Caruso said.

What does Caruso say about his game inside the bubble? Players have to finish their games under special circumstances. According to Caruso, the lack of fans changes everything.

“You’re missing the fans,” Caruso said. “We hate that we couldn’t be playing in Staples (Center) in front of the L.A. faithful cause we know how much they want to be there and support.”

Players miss their fans, but they feel a lot different once the game kicks in. Caruso played with the Texas A&M Aggies in college. He has had an incredible game with the Lakers, averaging 6.8 points on 43.8 percent shooting, 2.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 16 postseason games.

The Lakers guard made an impact for the team in Game 1 of the Finals against Miami. He finished with 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting while having four rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes of play.
