Bradley Beal Reveals Future Plans Following Lakers Trade Rumors

All-Star Bradley Beal has played with the Washington Wizards since 2012. The team selected him with the No. 3 overall pick. However, some say that the awesome Bradley Beal is making his way to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 27-year-old shooting guard may join the Lakers, and that would be the ideal scenario for many fans. Playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis is a great deal for every NBA player.

What does Beal say about these rumors? The two-time All-Star has planned a longer stay in D.C.

Bradley Beal to the Lakers?

Beal signed a two-year, $72 million contract extension with the Wizards last October. He has a player option in 2022-23. The talented player joined the “On the Road with Buck & Phil” podcast to share some details about his future. During his convo, Beal said he would love to finish his pro career in D.C.

“That would mean the world, man,” Beal said. “I’m a loyal guy. I want to be here. I’m here. I’ve signed my extension. And that will mean the world to me. That honestly would you know, being able to finish your career in one place? You know, you don’t see that in today’s game.”

The Wizards star will probably try to get more talented players on the roster.

“So that would definitely be an honor, you know, but my ultimate goal is to win,” Beal said. “I want to win and we got to win. And I know we can win. I know it’s a place where we can win and I know it’s a place where we can get guys to come here to win. But we got to go prove it on the floor for sure.”

Beal would love to finish his career with the Wizards. His team has missed the playoffs in each of the past couple of seasons. He will be eligible for free agency in 2022 and many teams would be interested in his talents. Washington will have John Wall back for the upcoming season. He missed the 2019-20 season due to an awful Achilles tear.
