Cam Newton Positive COVID-19 Test Sparks Wild Jarret Stidham Prediction

The New England Patriots have to do a lot of thinking right now. Veteran quarterback Cam Newton turned positive for his COVID-19 test, and this changes everything. Emerson Lotzia has made a really bold prediction, and many NFL analysts would support his words.

The Patriots released a statement following Newton’s test.

“Late last night, we received notice that a Patriots player tested positive for COVID-19. The player immediately entered self-quarantine. Several additional players, coaches and staff who have been in close contact with the player received point of care tests this morning and all were negative for COVID-19.”

The team is in close consultation with the league and their team of independent doctors and specialists. They will follow their guidance regarding the road game against the Chiefs. According to the statement, the organization values the health and safety of Patriots players and coaches. They also put the health of Kansas City players on the priority list.

Cam Newton shocked everyone with his COVID-19 test

Lotzia may be a prophet. His prediction on Jarrett Stidham and Newton may turn real. The only thing we can do right now is wait and see what happens next in New England.

The host of “NESN After Hours” predicted Saturday that the Patriots quarterback will start off forging a legacy as a NFL superstar in Week 4. New England is playing against defending Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Lotzia took to Twitter to make his prediction, right after the Patriots confirmed Newton’s positive test.

“This is the game Jarrett Stidham becomes the next Tom Brady. You heard it here first,” Lotzia tweeted.

This takes us all the way to Tom Brady. TB12 was a little-known backup quarterback in Week 2 of the 2001 NFL season. He stepped in as a replacement for injured Drew Bledsoe. We all know what happened next. Bill Belichick liked Brady, and Brady became the legendary quarterback for the team.

The GOAT is no longer part of the Patriots organization as he signed a two-year deal with the Buccaneers. Is Stidham really the next Tom Brady?
