Danny Green Opens Up on Infamous Finals Game 5 Miss With Big Revelation

Danny Green has come out with some big revelation on his game 5 miss against the Miami Heat that would have won them the game. This year was a big one for the Lakers. They finally brought back the title to Los Angeles after so long. But it definitely wasn’t easy.

With the COVID situation, it was very difficult for the Lakers to stay focused. But apparently they were able to in the end. LeBron talked about how hard it was to stay in the NBA bubble for so long. It was not as easy as it looked. Take a look at what he said.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “That was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.”

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

But now that the dust has settled from the championship run, there are some interesting reports coming out. One of those is Danny Green’s missed shot in Game 5. Apparently, he was more hurt than people thought.

He had a chance at a game winning shot but was not able to knock it down. So it shouldn’t be surprising to learn that he was more injured than we thought originally.

Danny Green had a pretty good showing in the Playoffs despite his injury trouble. Luckily it didn’t matter much with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the team.
