ESPN Makes Bold Prediction For Patriots vs 49ers Week 7 Game

ESPN has made a bold prediction for the Patriots vs the 49ers in their week 7 match up. The Patriots have not looked very good in the past few weeks. In fact, their last two games have been pretty embarrassing losses. But they are definitely looking to bounce back as much as possible. The COVID situation definitely took a toll on the team as a whole.

But Bill Belichick was very much in the belief that they could get back on track. We will have to see if it works out. Take a look at what he said recently.

“Today’s an important day in our preparation for the Broncos,” Belichick said. “We’ve had several days now of virtual meetings between the staff members and from the staff to the players. We’ve been able to cover a lot of things, but we haven’t spent any time together, so today’s our opportunity to do that. We look forward to that. One thing that we’ve learned this year repeatedly has been we have to be ready to adjust and adapt to changes and modifications and the way we do things and, in some cases, decisions that really come down to a very short amount of time that we have to be ready to adjust to.”

“So we’re certainly taking things day by day — probably hour by hour would be more accurate. We’ll just see how we progress and then as we find out more on our end, or if there are other things externally that we can’t control that, then we’ll deal with those as they come. That’s the way it’s been all year. I think our team and our players have done a good job of handling those adjustments, and we’ll continue to do that.”

Now ESPN has come out with a pretty interesting prediction for the Patriots week 7 game.

ESPN 49ers reporter Nick Wagoner thinks that Cam Newton will have a field day against the 49ers defense.

“New England quarterback Cam Newton will rush for 90-plus yards,” Wagoner picked as his bold prediction for 49ers-Patriots. “Believe it or not, Newton has only four such games in his career and hasn’t hit the 90-yard mark since 2017. But the 49ers have struggled to contain mobile quarterbacks, allowing 231 rushing yards to QBs so far this season, most in the NFL.”

Well, this would bode well for the Patriots. What do you think about this prediction?
