A former teammate has revealed how LeBron James has dominate the NBA calling him the “greatest in the world.” The Lakers are officially NBA champions. It has been very interesting to see how the current set up of the team has meshed. Obviously, the tandem of LeBron and Anthony Davis was were impressive to watch.

But it was also very hard for the Lakers this season. Obviously, the COVID situation was hard for everyone. But with the Lakers, they also had to deal with the death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Here is what LeBron had to say about this recently.

“Of course, you think there’s going to be time for us to get together and I understand that there are regrets in life, but I definitely wish I had that moment with him,” James told Yahoo Sports. “I do remember when I decided to come here, he sent me a text right away and said, ‘Welcome, brother. Welcome to the family.’ That was a special moment because at the time, Laker faithful wasn’t [fully in on me]. A lot of people were saying, ‘Well, we might not want LeBron at this point in his career,’ and, ‘Is he right? Is he going to get us back [to the Finals]?’ So to hear from him and get his stamp of approval, it meant a lot. I don’t ever question myself, but when it’s coming from Kobe, it definitely meant a lot.”

But now there are some other stories coming out. One of those is from Dahntay Jones who has given some great insight on LeBron as a player.

I pride myself on being the first person to the gym because I’m a role player,” Jones said. “I have to do that to be on teams and be available. But I am walking in with him. He is preparing like I am preparing. Greatest in the world. He’s stretching early, he’s lifting early, working out on the court early.

“So (we) develop a relationship on the road as well of just being the guys that work extremely hard. He works harder than anybody else, he trains harder, he prepares film-wise, he recovers with the best of them. He’s always doing things go make himself ready for the next game.

“When you got a guy that athletically supreme to everybody else but then mentally locked into his physical as well, that’s what you see in your 17th year being able to still dominate the game of basketball.”

Do you agree with what he had to say?
