James White Return to Practice ‘Inspiring’ Devin McCourty, Patriots Teammates

The New England Patriots spent some time without running back James White. The Patriots veteran lost his father in a car accident and his mother has sustained serious injuries. New England has some great news for all the fans out there. The great James White decided to return to the field, and he has already taken part in his first practice with the Patriots.

Devin McCourty and the rest of the Patriots players really loved seeing White back again. According to Devin, White “inspires the guys in this locker room by just showing up today and he’ll inspire the rest of this region who supports him.” We know a lot of people who share the same thoughts.

James White decides to return for practice with his Patriots teammates

Patriots players really missed White in the past couple of weeks. New England dedicated touchdowns to the halfback in order to support him. White played in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins and rushed for 22 yards from five carries. He was also able to catch all three of his targeted passes for 30 yards.

White has great stats and he averaged a total of 263 rushing yards from 67 carries.

Sony Michel stepped in White’s role. He leads the Patriots in rushing yards with a total of 173 in the first three contests. Cam Newton likes to run and this was of great help for the running game. New England lacked running backs and Newton’s skills were of great help in the process. The veteran quarterback is second in rushing on the team with 149 yards.

White will probably join his teammates in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s a road game for the Pats and they will definitely need White on the field. playing against the defending Super Bowl champions is a tough thing, and the Patriots will have to get ready for the most challenging game of the season.

Patriots players will arrive at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday. They defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3, and it was a wonderful 36-20 win. New England played well as a team.
