Jared Dudley Warns About LeBron James, NBA Stars if Season Starts in December

The NBA may start the regular season earlier than planned. There’s a chance for the NBA to start the 2020-21 NBA season around Christmas. This is less than acceptable for some teams. Los Angeles Lakers veteran Jared Dudley talked about the season start in December and many players will agree with him.

According to Dudley, LeBron James and other superstars will sit during the regular season.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the past season played through the middle of October instead of finishing in July. The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will have less time than other teams to prepare for the upcoming season. This is less than acceptable for the Lakers. Miami players share the same opinion.

Jared Dudley and other players to agree on the season start in December

The Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics advanced to the Conference Finals. These are the four teams who would suffer the most if the league decides to begin the upcoming season in December.

NBA teams usually have four months to recuperate from the previous season. Players finished the season under unusual circumstances, and the whole schedule changed. Teams would have just two months to get ready for the season.

Even when the coronavirus didn’t exist, NBA teams liked to sit their stars to keep them healthy for the season. The Los Angeles Clippers were pretty careful with Kawhi Leonard on their back-to-backs in order to keep him fresh for the postseason.

The league still discusses the best scenario for the season. If the NBA gets underway within the next two months, fans better get ready to watch games played without superstars like LeBron, Jimmy Butler and many others.

It’s a serious situation and the NBA has to find the best solution. Playing without any stars in attendance is hard, and fans won’t be interested in watching those games. Pretty much everyone would agree that fans prefer watching LeBron crashing his opponents than rookies rolling the ball.

LeBron has yet to make comments on this situation. We don’t really know how he feels right now. The four-time NBA champion is having his time off, and he uses it to rest and relax for 2020-21.
