John Cusack Finally Reveals Michael Jordan Last In-Game Message to Kobe Bryant

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan had a big message for Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant during their final game back in 2003.

The Black Mamba hit 55 points on Jordan and the Washington Wizards in 2003. This was actually a “pass-the-torch” move.” This was the final game between the legends. The Bulls legend did one last thing regarding his younger opponent. Many would agree that this was an iconic moment for both stars.

Kobe tried to drive baseline right before MJ “stepped in front of him, planted his feet, and took a charge.” This defensive plan was actually a great moment between the stars. MJ made a comment to Kobe, and the Black Mamba proceeded to laugh. Now we know a lot about this comment.

Jordan had a great last message for Kobe

Cusack was enjoying his spot courtside behind MJ and Kobe. He revealed more details of the conversation between Kobe and Jordan.

“So, Kobe got the ball. He cleared everybody out,” the actor explained. “Everybody started to bristle up with anticipation and it was gonna be Kobe against Michael. And Kobe started to drive, Michael stepped in front of him right in front of me and he took the charge. . . . Michael just looked up and said: ‘Well everybody in the fu**ing building knew you weren’t going to pass.’”

Jordan was more than right. Kobe accepted some really great challenges. He confronted a lot of great players like MJ.

NBA fans are really grateful for the details Cusack shared. Now we know what made Kobe laugh when he made an offensive foul on the Bulls legend. It was an iconic moment for the players and pretty much every NBA fan out there.

Kobe will be remembered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He was competitive and raging. No one could ever stop him.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash in January. He was traveling with eight other people, including his lovely daughter Gigi. The world lost a legend, and we really miss his charisma on the courtside.
