Kyrie Irving Reacts To Reports Of His Alleged Jab At LeBron James

Kyrie Irving has now reacted to some new reports that he had taken a jab at LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers are officially in the finals. They were able to win game 1 against the Miami Heat in blowout fashion. This was impressive to say the least. The Lakers are definitely the more talented team on the court. But are they able to use that to their advantage? The NBA bubble format has definitely had an interesting impact on how the Lakers play.

LeBron James has talked about how the bubble has impacted him. There is no doubt that staying in one area for so long has negative impacts. The Lakers have officially been in the bubble for over 3 months and it is staring to take a toll. Just look at what LeBron has said about it in the past.

“It’s probably been the most challenging thing I’ve ever done as far as a professional, as far as committing to something and actually making it through. But I knew when I was coming what we were coming here for. I would be lying if I sat up here and knew that everything inside the bubble, the toll that it would take on your mind and your body and everything else, because it’s been extremely tough. But I’m here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship.”

But now there is some different juice to come out. Kyrie Irving was thought to have take a shot at LeBron recently.

During his time on ‘The Etcs Podcast,’ Irving talked about his time with KD in Brooklyn. “This is the first time in my career I can look down and be like that motherf***er can make that shot too,” Irving said.

Kyrie responded to the criticism that this was a shot at LeBron James.

After Kyrie saw the comment taken out of context, he wanted to address it through his social media. “Why must it always be brother against brother? Why? If I’m addressing anyone, I’ll say their name,” he said.

It seems clear that this was taken out of context and wasn’t really what he meant.

What do you think about what he said? Do you think this was a shot at LeBron James?
