Lakers Fans Find Unique Way to Take Harsh Shot at Danny Green

Here comes another petition. The Los Angeles Lakers have a really great chance to win the NBA Finals, and some Lakers fans don’t like the idea of seeing Danny Green get his ring. Green once had the record for most three-pointers made in a Finals series when he hit 23 for the San Antonio Spurs in 2013. Well, Green has had some struggles this postseason. He showed decent performance in Game 1 of the NBA Finals as he went 4-for-9 from 3. Unfortunately, he went 1 for 14 in the last two games.

Fans have targeted green for quote some time and now they have addressed his shooting problems. There’s a petition on Change.org and it calls for Green not to get his ring should his team win the championship. Let’s not forget that someone created similar petition for Kyke Kuzma.

“Danny Green has been terrible in the entire 2020 playoffs for the Lakers,” the organizer of the petition wrote. “He doesn’t deserve a ring if the Lakers win the championship and Jeanie Buss should make sure he doesn’t get one.”

Lakers fans criticize Danny Green

There’s nothing pleasant about this and the Lakers starter sure took notice of it. however, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel trusts his player and still has him in the starting lineup. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has his struggles too, and fans are not really signing a petition.

Vogel believes that both Green and Caldwell-Pope will regain their control.

“Those guys have been fine,” he said following the Game 3 loss. “They have been great for us all year. We have to execute as a group better. If we execute as a group better, have more intent to get higher shot quality, then those guys will be fine.”

The clock is ticking and Green better work on his shooting. These struggles have to disappear and he has to help the team win the series.

Green hurt his hip in Game 3, but decided to play through his injury. “I’m playing, man, so I’m good. I’m feeling fine.”

Vogel is not worried about this, and he even said that Green deals with some tightness in his hip. So, it’s not really an injury.
