Lakers Legend Michael Cooper Makes Bold Prediction on LeBron James-Anthony Davis Duo

Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis did a really good job in Orlando. They brought the NBA title home and fans cheered on their success. NBA analysts would agree that LA won thanks to the LeBron Davis duo. It was a wonderful win and both players went back home with a souvenir. LeBron won his fourth title, and Davis won his first ring.

Michael Cooper talked to Tomer Azarly on the Battle for LA Podcast and shared his thoughts on the Lakers championship run. How many titles can this LA teamw in?

“If they go on and win this, I think they definitely have to be recognized as going down in the Lakers’ lore of great teammates that has one championship,” Cooper said before Game 6 of the NBA Finals. “I do believe this and I’m gonna make a bold prediction — when the Lakers win a championship now, they’ll win three in a row. I see that they’ll gonna have some replacement, see people coming in, there’s gonna be player and personnel moves.”

The LeBron and Davis duo has so much to offer

Kobe Bryand and Shaquille O’Neal helped the Lakers win three titles. They defeated the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, and New Jersey Nets in the NBA Finals. LeBron and Davis will have to work really hard to accomplish this.

The upcoming season will be full of competition. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will try to put the Golden State Warriors on the top again. Kevin Durant will join forces with Kyrie Irving and the rest of the players on the Brooklyn Nets roster. The Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers will make some changes to improve their rosters and increase their chances to make the NBA Finals.

Well, LA Lakers are still favorites. LeBron plans to win a few more titles. He was averaging a near-triple-double at 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game on 59.1 percent shooting in his 10^th NBA Finals.

Let’s hope that LeBron and Davis will stay together in LA and win more championships.
