Lakers Teammate Reveals LeBron James Has ‘Unmatched Respect’ For Michael Jordan

LeBron James won his fourth title with the Los Angeles Lakers, and fans keep comparing him to Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan. Truth is, LeBron is not even interested in the GOAT debate. He has nothing but respect for MJ and everything he has accomplished in his career.

Jared Dudley went on “The Bill Simmons” podcast to talk about LeBron and his role in the GOAT debate. LeBron’s teammate said the king has always been a fan of MJ. According to Dudley, LeBron enjoyed watching ESPN’s documentary “The Last Dance.”

“I watched the Last Dance with Bron,” Jordan. “LeBron’s a huge Jordan guy, we all know, we grew up watching him. The documentary, we watched it every Thursday, Saturday, we were watching it. The respect that LeBron has for Jordan is unmatched.”

LeBron James respects Michael Jordan

Did LeBron ever say that he is better than Jordan? Of course not. He respects the Bulls legend.

“….No. I never heard him say a comment like that,” Dudley said. “He was just so like ‘Michael’s a bad boy’, He loved the Rodman series…He just wants to be seen eye-to-eye”

LeBron is one of the best players in the NBA history. He is a fan of LeBron, and maybe this will be more than enough for doubters to stop saying he is not a great player.

Jordan had his era. LeBron does things differently. Their styles are really different. Even LeBron knows it. He is well aware of the fact that MJ rolled the ball differently. He had a different approach to his teammates. LeBron is a different leader. The only similarity these two have is their competitiveness. Jordan won a lot of games with his team. LeBron has led three different teams to the top.

The Los Angeles Lakers can easily replicate the success they had this season. Of course, Anthony Davis has to stay around. LeBron needs his superstar teammate right by his side. If Davis leaves the team, LA will have to bring another top player to go through the season without any problems.
