LeBron James Explains Trash Talk To Jimmy Butler During Game 3

LeBron James gave fans a reason to talk with his trash talk to Jimmy Butler. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar did some trash-talking in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. But, the four-time NBA MVP took his time to explain that he is not a trash-talk initiator, adding that his style delivers the perfect message.

According to LeBron, he’s “always been a guy who kind of let his game do the talking.”

LeBron respects other players, and he pays close attention to their style. The Lakers superstar collects info to beat his rivals. He doesn’t need a trash-talk skill. His game does the talking.

“For me personally, as long as it doesn’t get disrespectful, I’m fine with it,” LeBron said. “But I’ve never really started up a trash-talking dialogue. That’s just not me. I believe the way I play the game is enough trash talking in itself.”

The Heat star delivered a similar message. From what we can see, there’s nothing but respect between Butler and LeBron. This trash talk seemed too strong, but it looks like there’s no reason to worry at this point.

“Firstly, let’s not act like I’m out here talking trash because I’m not,” Butler told media members following the win. “LeBron said the same words to me at the end of the first quarter. That’s what happened. I just said it to him in the fourth quarter just before we won.”

Butler hit a triple-double in Sunday’s win. He recorded 40 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. The Heat superstar had two steals and a couple of blocks to help the team maintain a steady lead.

LeBron scored 25 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks. He’s been playing around these numbers throughout the entire postseason.

Butler and LeBron are competitive players and they are well aware of that. They are trying to win a title, and we all know what happens when two beasts meet in the NBA Finals. LeBron is going after his fourth ring, and he will dunk his way to the top.
