LeBron James Gives Savage Response to his Rookie Cards Selling For Over $2,700,000 Million

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made great headlines with the selling of his rookie cards. Believe it or not, LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers rookie cards sold for $2,700,000.

One of the cards sold for $1.8 million. The other pieces were sold for $900,000. The four-time NBA MVP was humbled by this amount of money. He grew up in poverty and his mom, Gloria, struggled to make ends meet. LeBron may be humble, but he is definitely in the mood to provide a savage response.

“I think that’s pretty cool. That’s the first thing. I didn’t hear those numbers much growing up. Second thing is I have 2 rookie cards of my own. So, I’ll be good for a very, very long time.”

LeBron has earned a lot of millions in his basketball career. His basketball contracts are really big, and we can say the same for his endorsements off the basketball court. Will LeBron try to sell his rookie cards after his retirement? That would sure give him extra cash.

LeBron James doesn’t think of his rookie cards right now

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. LeBron and his teammates won Game 1 and even maintained a 30-point lead at some point of the game. Jimmy Butler’s team had no chance against the Lakers’ greats. Many thought that this would be a highly anticipated series. From what we can see, LeBron and his Lakers are winning this one. They are taking the title home.

Heat players struggle with injuries and the team has yet to release the worrisome injury report.

Davis led the Lakers in points in Game 1, recording 34 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes. LeBron had 25 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. This is one assist short of another triple-double in the NBA playoffs.

Lakers players look really well right now, and basketball analysts predict a win for Vogel’s team. Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo sustained an injury and Butler has to treat his sprained ankle. The leader will join the team in Game 2. Miami has listed Dragic and Adebayo as doubtful.
