LeBron James Isn’t Close to Being Done Yet After Lakers’ Bubble Tittle

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James entered the NBA bubble to win a title. He made a promise and yes, he kept it. LA defeated the Miami Heat and players went wild in the locker room. They shared long hugs and sprayed each others with champagne.  What will happen now?

LeBron is 35 and he has had an incredible performance. He has averaged the most points and Win Shares ever in the postseason. He is the only player his age to average at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists per playoff game. Players at his age don’t even come any near these stats.

LeBron James has great plans after winning his bubble title

Host Josh Lloyd and Anthony Irwin discussed LeBron’s situation on the daily Locked On NBA Podcast. Is LeBron done yet?

He’s what, 35 turning 36? He is at some point, but he’s well past the area when most people fall off a cliff,” Lloyd said. “So no, I look at he’s either the best or second-best player currently in the NBA. Maybe his teammate is up there, maybe it’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is right up there. So no, I don’t see that he’s having any sort of falloff. He hasn’t really had even a marginal decline realistically in the last three or four years. So no, he’s going to be the same player, I would imagine, or pretty close to that next season. The only worry you have is maybe that groin, which did bother him quite a bit in the regular season and last season. Maybe there are more issues that crop up with his body, but you wouldn’t bet against it, there’s no way to predict that’s going to happen.”

Pairing LeBron and Davis was the best decision LA has ever made. The king of basketball needed a superstar by his side. Davis increased his dominance, and LeBron did his magic on the floor. Fans really hope to see LeBron and Davis together on the floor again. LA needs that. Fans need this. The NBA needs this impressive duo. LeBron would definitely love to share the court with the big guy.
