LeBron James Joins Jerry West in Ultra-Exclusive NBA Finals Club

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James joined the NBA to hit records, and he did it again. The brilliant LeBron James has earned himself a spot in the NBA Finals club. King James hit his sixth point in Game 5 of the NBA Finals and now he joins Jerry West as the only NBA player to reach 1,500 points in the finals history. This only proves what we all know. LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time.

The three-time NBA champion hit his milestone with his third shot of the game early in the first quarter. LeBron started the game with a sense of urgency. He was super aggressive on offense. He posted up and found seams in Miami’s defense. Let’s not forget that LeBron has a photographic memory and he knows pretty much everything about his opponents. He knows where everyone stands and can also predict his opponent’s next move.

At halftime, LeBron had a game-high 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field. This includes 3-of-4 from three-point range. The king of basketball had four rebounds, three assists, and a steal.  Lakers players took things seriously, but Jimmy Butler’s team found a way to take a lead in the first half.

Miami carried a four-point edge into the break with a 60-56 result.

King James is a little over a hundred points away from passing West for the most points in the NBA Finals. He scored 1,678 points in his nine appearances.

Prior to this game, LeBron was averaging a near-triple double. He had 27.8 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 8.5 assists for LA. The Lakers superstar was shooting 53.8 percent from the field.

The fun part? LeBron is not even interested in trash talking. He lets his game do the trash-talking. He got into a thing with Butler in Game 4, but it was just a misunderstanding. LeBron and Butler have nothing but respect for each other.
