LeBron James’ Latest Instagram Post Fires Back at Critics Who Called Him Washed

LeBron James’ latest Instagram post appears to fire back at the critics who have called him “washed.” LeBron James was great this season. He, along with Anthony Davis, lead the Los Angeles Lakers to yet another NBA title. This was great for the Lakers fan base who was still shocked by the death of former Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

This year and NBA season has not been easy for anyone. With the COVID 19 situation continuing to rage on, it has been interesting to see how the different teams and organizations react. The NBA was one of the ones who got it to work perfectly. And this was good news for the Lakers.

But the death of Bryant was also a huge part of the Lakers season. LeBron James talked about this recently.

“Of course, you think there’s going to be time for us to get together and I understand that there are regrets in life, but I definitely wish I had that moment with him,” James told Yahoo Sports. “I do remember when I decided to come here, he sent me a text right away and said, ‘Welcome, brother. Welcome to the family.’ That was a special moment because at the time, Laker faithful wasn’t [fully in on me]. A lot of people were saying, ‘Well, we might not want LeBron at this point in his career,’ and, ‘Is he right? Is he going to get us back [to the Finals]?’ So to hear from him and get his stamp of approval, it meant a lot. I don’t ever question myself, but when it’s coming from Kobe, it definitely meant a lot.”
