LeBron James Sets Expectations Straight For Anthony Davis in Game 4 vs Heat

Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis will have to try super hard to win Game 4 vs Miami Heat. The duo won the first two games of the series, but Jimmy Butler’s team surprised them in Game 3. LA has to prepare well for the upcoming game, and LeBron shared his expectations from Davis.

Some NBA analysts say that Davis was a non-factor in Game 3 on Sunday. He was a dominant force in the first two games of the series. However, Miami limited Davis to nine shot attempts and 15 points. That doesn’t even look like Davis.

If you ask LeBron, he will say that Davis’ performance is definitely not a reason for concern. The three-time NBA champion is not concerned about Davis and his role in Game 4.

When asked about Davis and his response to the Game 3 performance, LeBron said, “I expect him to be AD.”

Simple. Clear. Do we really need to add more to this?

LeBron feels great about giving Davis the chance to lead the team. The Lakers big man takes over games on the offensive end of the floor and LeBron is fine with that. King James trusts Davis and his ability to make plays at crucial junctures. We believe the same tradition will continue in the next few days.

Davis has already faced similar issues regarding his shots. The best part? He can easily bounce back. He has already done that, and LeBron hopes for the same development of events.

In the second game in the NBA bubble, Davis scored just 14 points on 2-for-7 shootign in the Lakers’s second game. Two days later, Davis hit 42 points in the win over the Utah Jazz.

Los Angeles will have to find ways to give Davis enough room to do his magic. Things will turn really bad for the Lakers if Bam Adebayo joins his team in Game 4.

The Lakers have a 2-1 lead at this point in the series and LeBron is confident about his teammate.
