Nick Wright Destroys Kyrie Irving For Comments on LeBron James in Clutch

Nick Wright took notice of Kyrie Irving and his comments on former teammate LeBron James. The Brooklyn Nets star said a few things that seemed like an insult directed at the four-time NBA MVP.

During his appearance on ‘The Etcs Podcast,’ Irving discussed his game with Durant. He used the occasion to say that he had always been the top option in crunch time for every franchise he had ever signed with. Well, Wright didn’t like any of this and many NBA fans would support his thoughts.

“This is the first time in my career I can look down and be like that motherf***er can make that shot too,” Irving said on the podcast.

He noticed the avalanche of reactions to his comments, and decided to shut down every rumor. From what we can see, he didn’t take a shot at LeBron. According to Irving, the comment was taken out of context. He took to his social media to address the comments.

“Why must it always be brother against brother? Why? If I’m addressing anyone, I’ll say their name,” Irving said.

Wright won’t change his mind in the near future. On Fox Sports 1’s “First Things First,” Wright made a simple comparison between LeBron and Irving.

“It’s obviously no contest. You have 1 who is the greatest ever at it & 1 who has made 2 shots,” Wright said. That hurts!

During their time in Cleveland, Irving had a 3-pointer late in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. The Cavaliers won their first title in that game.

This shot was “Irving’s coming-out party as a bonafide star.”

Kyrie Irving may regret his comments on LeBron James

LeBron made a lot of game-winning shots in the playoffs he has taken part in throughout his 17-year NBA career. He didn’t make a career around one of two clutch shots like Irving.

LeBron and his Lakers teammates have a chance to win a title this season. They are playing against the Miami Heat and things couldn’t develop any better than this.
