Odell Beckham Jr. To Patriots… Nick Wright Sparks Trade Rumors

NFL fans are having a really great time at the moment. Everyone is following the situation in the New England Patriots. Several players have been linked with the Patriots, including Odell Beckham Jr., and he may be on the trade block.

The Cleveland Browns shocked everyone with their four-game winning streak. Some say the team will try to trade Odell before the Nov.3 NFL trade deadline.

Remember what happened in Sunday’s 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers? Odell threw a sideline temper tantrum. Is he making his way to the New England Patriots?

Nick Wright from FS1 discussed this possibility. He also revealed a nice message he received following the Week 6 loss.

“I got a text message from what I will call a ‘trusted NFL source,’ ” Wright revealed. “And the text message said, ‘The Odell trade rumblings are rumbling again.’”

Wright talked about this in a segment about the Patriots’ two straight losses. The team had a terrible loss to the Denver Broncos, and some NFL analysts believe that Patriots fans should really start panicking right now.

Browns to trade Odell Beckham Jr. to Patriots

Wright reminded everyone that the New England Patriots weren’t mentioned in the text message. However, Beckham can easily join the Pats. New England needs some help on the field, and Odell may fit in the Patriots’ offense.

“I look around the league and I say, ‘Who is a team that if (Beckham) were to become available could fit him in under the cap, would make sense (and) has an obvious need there, and the top of that list is your Patriots,” Wright said.

“Now, the text said nothing about the Patriots. I want to be clear here. I want to be clear that A) The text was not from Odell. Promise I give my word. And B) The text did not say any team in particular. I’m connecting the Patriots dot when I was told that the Odell trade rumblings are starting to rumble again. I do think they could use another weapon so it’s not Ryan Izzo going over the middle fumbling the game away. But I think the Patriots are gonna be fine, and I think they could be downright dangerous had they added Le’Veon Bell — they didn’t — or if they were to make a trade for a wide receiver, which maybe they could.”

Veteran quarterback Cam Newton missed the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a bit rusty against Denver, and this is probably related to his battle with COVID-19. Odell is a perfect match for the Patriots’ offense.
