Patriots Release Injury Report Ahead Of Chiefs Game

The New England Patriots have once again released their injury report ahead of their match up with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. This NFL season has looked quite a bit different than most seasons. There are no fans in the stadium which is definitely having an impact on the play on the field as well. But the Patriots have still been able to look pretty well.

The New England Patriots are going into week 4 with a 2 and 1 record. This is pretty good considering last year and what they went through. With all of the changes that were made over the last season, many though that this season was going to be a bit of a rebuilding year. But Bill Belichick and company had other plans.

With the signing of Cam Newton as their new quarterback, changes were made and now the offense is looking very improved. Just take a look at what Belichick has said about Newton in the past.

“He’s come in and do everything we’ve asked him to do,” Belichick told reporters back in August. “He works hard. He’s obviously a very talented player and looking forward to continue to work with him. We’ll just take it day-by-day, but he’s given us everything he’s had and we’ve tried to put the team in the best position we can competitively. We’ll see how that all comes out. I’m sure a lot of things will change as the season goes along. We are where we are for right now and just keep trying to get better every day.”

But going into week 4, a few players were once again on the injury report. Sony Michel was won of those players.

Sony Michel had one of the best games of his New England Patriots career last Sunday. Sadly, he was not able to come out of it healthy. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a quad injury.

Other players that were also limited were: wide receiver Julian Edelman (knee), offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn (calf) and defensive tackle Adam Butler (shoulder).

Do you think this could have an impact on their game going into week 4?
