Patriots Reveal Sony Michel’s Status For Monday Night Matchup vs Chiefs

The New England Patriots vs the Kansas City Chiefs is all ready to go for Monday Night football. The Patriots were going into week 4 looking very good so far this season. It has been very impressive to see them so in tune on offense and defense. The defense was always ready to go. There were a lot more question marks regarding the offense, though. Some people were wondering if they would come ready to play.

Well, it looks like Cam Newton helped the offense get back on track. Ever since he joined the squad, he and the offense have looked very good. The are looking refreshed and are clicking in a way that we have not seen in quite awhile. Head coach Bill Belichick has also been impressed with what he has seen.

“I think when you’re talking about mobile quarterbacks — guys that are tough to handle, can throw, run, make good decisions … — I would put him at the top of the list.  “Not saying there aren’t a lot of other good players that do that, but I would say of all the guys we played recently in the last couple of years, I think he’s the hardest guy to (defend).”

“He makes good decisions, can run. He’s strong. He’s hard to tackle. He can do a lot of different things. He can beat you in a lot of different ways. We saw that in the game in 2013. I would put him at the top of the list. I’m not saying the other guys aren’t a problem, because they are. But he’s maybe public enemy No. 1.”

The New England Patriots not have their two rushers when they kick off against the Kansas City Chiefs tonight.

Two days after quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19, the Patriots ruled out Sony Michel with a quad injury. This is a huge loss for the Patriots.
