Report: Anthony Davis Played Through Undisclosed Ankle Injury

According to reports, Anthony Davis played through an undisclosed ankle injury during the NBA playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers are officially NBA champions. It was a very difficult year for the NBA this year. LeBron James and Anthony Davis both played very good and were able to help the Lakers to victory. Hopefully they are able to continue their impressive play for years in the future. But is this realistic?

It is. But there are definitely stuff to think about. But the NBA season was long and difficult. There were many things that happened to the Lakers that was hard to deal with. Obviously, the death of Kobe Bryant was on the top of that list.

But also, the COVID situation is becoming harder and harder to deal with. The NBA bubble worked, but it was hard to deal with. Take a look at what LeBron said.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “And that was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.”

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

But after the Finals ended, it sounds like AD might have a more serious injury than we thought.

“Man, I’m hurting,” said Davis “My mindset is, ‘It’s the Finals. I got to do whatever I can to compete,’” he said. “There’s no way in hell I wasn’t playing in this game.”

This is pretty important news considering what the Lakers went through. This is the second injury that we have learned about.

What do you think about this?
