Rob Ninkovich Says Bill Belichick Fired Shot At Rob Gronkowski

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick knows pretty much everything about the game. He calculates every move the team makes, including cuts and signings. NFL analysts have discussed his praise of George Kittle, and some have come up with an incredible story. Is there a deeper meaning behind this? Rob Ninkovich linked the story Bill Belichick shared to Rob Gronkowski.

According to Belichick, Kittle is “as good as anybody that I’ve coached or as good as anybody that we’ve played against.” Ninkovich is a former Patriot, and he believes that coach B was actually delivering a message to the former Patriots tight end.

“I don’t get why he is doing that,” Ninkovich said Thursday during his appearance on The Greg Hill Show. “It seems like a little shot. It seems like a little jab.

” … I just think it may be a slight little jab there, which seems a little unnecessary. But, Kittle is good. You can’t argue with the fact that Kittle is the best tight end in the game right now. I personally think he is. He is better than (Travis) Kelce in the running game. He can block, he’s tough. Has a little bit of craziness to him, where if he’s going to get hit he is going to jump up and scream a little bit. For me, I like him as the No. 1 tight end in the league right now. Best ever? It’s still Gronk to me.”

Bill Belichick has hard time replacing Rob Gronkowski

Belichick will probably stay mum on this one. He almost never explains his comments. The legendary coach doesn’t like answering questions, and only speaks about stuff related to any upcoming games.

NFL fans better not hope for an answer. We will probably never find out more about Belichick’s true reasons to make these comments. Kittle deserves these words of praise, and maybe there is no background story about this.

New England will play Jimmy Garoppolo, Kittle, and the San Francisco 49ers at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. It will be a good game, and New England will have veteran quarterback Cam Newton on the field.
