Shaquille O’Neal Calls Out Lakers Players For ‘Bragging’ On Instagram

The Los Angeles Lakers won a championship and players took their time to celebrate the great success. This was the 17th title LA players have won in the team history. Shaquille O’Neal took notice of these celebrations and didn’t really like all the things Lakers players did in the past few days.

According to O’Neal, the players should stop bragging on social media.

Athletes use social media to deliver a message, and LA players had every right to celebrate their title win. Lakers players have shared too many posts since defeating Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals.

“You know what I don’t like as a player? Its a lot of (Lakers) players on their little Instagram bragging like they were the reasons they got the championship. I ain’t gon’ say no names,” Shaq said on The Big Podcast With Shaq. “I know you know who I’m talking about. Stop it. Frontrunner. Bandwagon jumper. Stop it. Post one pic and sit your a** down.”

Is Shaquille O’Neal upset with all the Lakers players?

We don’t really know who Shaq was talking about here. The NBA icon didn’t mention any names, but he is definitely fed up with the celebration.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo, Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Dwight Howard and Alex Caruso may not be on Shaq’s list. They have been pretty moderate on social media since winning their ring.

What about Kyle Kuzma? Of course, Shaq didn’t mention anything about Kuzma, so we don’t really know if he is frustrated with the young player.

Fans did notice that Kuzma was pretty active on social media after winning his first ring. He had a good performance in the regular season, but something changed in the postseason and Kuzma didn’t really put big numbers. He wasn’t the same player LA had in the regular season. Will the Lakers part ways with the young Kuzma?

This is a brand new topic for the Los Angeles Lakers who may be lose some of the veterans. Rondo and KCP may opt-out of their players option with the team.
