Shareef O’Neal Honors Kobe Bryant With New Tattoo

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash earlier this year. His death was the first nightmare we had to cope with in 2020. The world lost a legend, and Vanessa Bryant lost her husband and her daughter Gigi in the same crash. The Bryant family can’t cope with the horrible loss. A lot of former and current basketball players have paid tribute to the Black Mamba. Some got tats. Shaq’s son, Shareef O’Neal got another tattoo in honor of the great Kobe.

Shareef got an image of Kobe celebrating while pulling his No.24 jersey. It’s tattooed on his body.

The talented kid has several other Kobe tattoos. He got a tattoo of Kobe’s Lakers numbers and Gigi’s No.2 Mamba jersey. He tattooed another image of Kobe taking a shot. There’s also a tattoo featuring Kobe’s trademark logo with “Mamba Mentality” tattooed above it. Amazing!

Shareef O’Neal is not the only one to get a Kobe Bryant tattoo

Shareef met Kobe through his father. Shaq and Kobe built a dynasty in LA in the 2000s. Shareef grew up watching his father winning games alongside the Black Mamba. Kobe was his mentor on and off the court.

Kobe sent Shareef a text right before popping on the helicopter with his daughter. Shareef didn’t respond to the final text he received from his “uncle.” This regret motivated him to dedicate his basketball career to the Lakers legend.

Shareef has also shared some text convos with Kobe. They planned to train together, and sadly, these plans will never become reality.

Shaq’s son isn’t the only basketball name to get a tattoo in honor of Kobe. Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis got their pieces right after the tragic crash. The Los Angeles Lakers dedicated their 2020 Larry O’Brien trophy to the great Kobe. It’s the best tribute for Kobe, and LA did it for him.

Kobe spent two decades with the Lakers, winning five titles. He will be remembered as an amazing player and competitor. NBA players learned so much from him, and they will continue his legacy.
