The Real Reason Anthony Davis is Not Playing More at Center for Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers were willing to make some changes to the starting lineup in order to help players win games easily. Head coach Frank Vogel even considered putting Anthony Davis at center. The Lakers big man doesn’t really like playing at this position. It looks like Vogel doesn’t want Davis at that position for too long.

The Lakers head coach revealed that they are trying to protect Davis from injuries. Players at center soak up a lot of beating during games. The team has a future Hall of Famer starting at this position in Dwight Howard.

Davis is one of the best players in the NBA. However, he has sustained a lot of injuries. Many analysts would agree that he has been prone to injuries since becoming an NBA player as the No.1 overall pick in 2012 from Kentucky.

Vogel plays really smart with this one. He is playing Howard at Center and Davis takes the power forward spot. The Lakers have been a dominant force in Orlando, and they have sent three teams home. Vogel will probably stick to this plan as it works really well. There’s no need for additional changes. This lineup has taken the team to the NBA Finals, and they are now going against the Miami Heat.

Anthony Davis won’t go at center

Davis is leading the team in points and his teammates play in perfect synergy. LeBron James is the ultimate leader, and he helps his teammates to unleash their real potential.

Los Angeles has made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010, and players are determined to go home with a trophy. This would be LeBron’s fourth championship win. Davis is ready to win his first title.

Miami defeated Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks. They also defeated the Boston Celtics. LeBron is playing against a Pat Riley team and we all know what that means.

The Lakers have entered the playoff run as a top seed. Yes, they have a real chance to become champions, and fans praise LeBron’s hard work on the floor. Davis and the other players have been great, too.
