Watch: Anthony Davis Says It’s Over With The Lakers Up 30 In The 3d Quarter

The Los Angeles Lakers crushed the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals. This is pretty much everything Lakers fans hoped for. It may be too soon to say anything, but Lakers big man Anthony Davis has already announced the big win for his Lakers team.

The star forward said it’s over right after his team took a 30-point lead in the third quarter of the game.

Davis was traded to the Lakers in June 2019, and building a legacy was always on his mind. “You know I wanted this,” he said.

Anthony Davis to lead the Lakers to the top

Davis spent seven seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans and had just two postseason appearances. He had to change the scenery and playing alongside a superstar was a better scenario for him. Davis joined forces with LeBron James, and these two are doing wonders on the floor.

The big man had his first NBA Finals media day on Tuesday, and he explained that learning from the three-time NBA champion in his debut season with the Lakers got him ready for Miami.

“You see the work and preparation LeBron puts in every day, and you understand why this is his 10th NBA Finals appearance. He never stops. I plan to follow this motherf—er to hopefully nine more Finals,” Davis told Yahoo Sports. “We’re all ready to go.”

From what we can see, Davis and his teammates are definitely ready to go.

Davis has a $28.7 million player option for the 2020-21 season. Will he use it? The Lakers offered him a massive extension, but Davis turned it down. It was more like a routine move, and many fans believe that Davis will stay in LA for quite some time.

The talented player is considered a top-five talent because of his versatile skills. Davis is one of the best two-way players in the league. He is 27, and now is the perfect time for him to win his first title. LeBron will help him in the process. Los Angeles is winning Game 1 of the series.
