Watch: LeBron James And Jimmy Butler Talking Trash at The End of The 1st

The Los Angeles Lakers met Miami in the NBA Finals and things are getting a little bit too hot for players on both teams. LA won the first two games of the series. Heat players won’t give up without a good fight though. They entered Game 3 motivated to win, and finished the first quarter with a lead. Well, LeBron James didn’t like any of that, so he got into a thing with Jimmy Butler.

LeBron is in his 17th season and this would be his fourth title. Butler may be his rival in the series, but he does acknowledge LeBron’s dominance. According to Butler, LeBron is one of the toughest players he has guarded in his basketball career.

The Heat superstar praised LeBron’s game, saying he is one of the five toughest players he’s guarded. Butler also praised LeBron’s athleticism, vision, and explosiveness. The king of basketball has the perfect mix of size and athleticism. In other words, he can out-muscle small and quick defenders who guard him. LeBron can also move past larger defenders thanks to his speeds. The four-time NBA MVP lures defenders in a double-team which frees up his teammates for open shots.

LeBron James and Jimmy Butler respect each other

What makes LeBron so difficult to guard? “He’s still the best all-around player in the league,” Butler said. “He literally does everything well. He can shoot. Pass. Attack the rim. Defend. You need a bucket? LeBron’s got you. You need a rebound, a steal, or a block? He’s got you. Whatever you need, whenever you need it.”

What does this mean? The trash talk between LeBron and Davis is nothing but a clear sign that both superstars are determined to win the series.

Butler had problems in the first two games but it looks like he is back in the game now. LeBron and his teammates will have to do an extra effort to shut down Butlers’ Miami team.

Anthony Davis is brilliant, and Rajon Rondo showed his playoff side. Is that enough? Will LA win the NBA Finals against Butler’s Heat?
