Watch: LeBron James Talks on GOAT Debate After His 4th Title

LeBron James finished his 17th NBA season with a championship win. This was the king’s fourth title and he is 35. As we all noticed, age has nothing on him, and he is super determined to play his best basketball in the next few seasons. His NBA Finals MVP award will motivate him in the upcoming campaigns. This championship win opened an old topic. Has LeBron James earned his spot in the GOAT Debate? Absolutely. But, the king of basketball is not really impressed with this.

In his 17th years on the basketball court, King James has 16 All-Star selections, 16 All NBA team selections, 10 NBA Finals appearance, 4 NBA MVP, 4 NBA Finals MVP, and 4 NBA Championships.

LeBron James deserves a spot in the GOAT debate

After winning the championship, LeBron and Anthony Davis sat down for an interview with Rachel Nichols. The four-time NBA MVP talked about the GOAT debate and his admiration for Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

“That’s not for me to question or wonder or debate,” LeBron said of the GOAT thing. “For me personally, I have a way that I play the game. I have a way that I lead. I have a way that I challenge my guys and myself…we call it barbershop talk. You guys know how much I love Michael Jordan. I wear No. 23 because of Michael Jordan. When I first got my first pair of Jordans, you couldn’t tell me nothin’. So, ya’ll can do the debates. Ya’ll can figure that out.”

We wouldn’t add anything to this. LeBron spoke his mind and maybe doubters will stop criticizing him. The Lakers superstar is fine with his game and his leadership skills. He loves and admires MJ. He did all this chasing the ghost from Chicago.

LeBron can easily play a few more years, and we believe that he has a great chance to pass Jordan for the No.1 spot on the championship wins list.

LA is focused on keeping Davis on the roster. He can easily go somewhere else. LeBron works better when surrounded by another superstar. He and Davis did an incredible job in Orlando.
