Watch: LeBron James Walks Into Las Vegas Championship Party With Larry O’Brien Trophy

The Los Angeles Lakers won the 17th NBA championship in team history. It was an emotional win for the Lakers. Players managed to win the Larry O’Brien trophy inside the NBA bubble in Orlando. They played in specific circumstances and couldn’t see their families for a few months. Playing inside a bubble requires a lot of dedication and excellent mental health. Well, LA players did that and now they have another trophy. When it comes to the trophy, LeBron James took it to Las Vegas.

This doesn’t come as a surprise for most fans. They have already seen players do similar things after winning a title. LeBron was really excited about his fourth title. Yes, he decided to bring his little friend to the big party. Veteran guard JR Smith was the DJ, remember?

LeBron James and his teammates party in Las Vegas

LA players partied at Marquee Las Vegas. LeBron entered the venue with the trophy in his hands.

The four-time NBA champion had a really good performance in Orlando. He helped the team make the top of the West. The Lakers actually stayed there throughout the entire season. Let’s not forget that LeBron is in his 17 NBA season. The 35-year-old averaged 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists in six game series against Jimmy Butler’s team.

The Lakers had their first NBA Finals appearance in a decade. He was more than proud to lead the team to the top of the NBA for the first time since 2010. The Lakers won their title. We definitely understand LeBron’s urge to carry the trophy into the celebration in Las Vegas. We do hope players partied responsibly in the big city. They are big guys with great responsibilities in their lives.

The Lakers may not enter the next season with the same roster. Several players will probably opt out of their player option. This includes Rajon Rondo and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Lakers big man Anthony Davis is set to enter free agency, but most analysts agree that he will stay with the Lakers for a few more seasons. Some say that LeBron will pass the torch to his younger teammate. Is Davis the new leader in the Lakers locker room?
