Bill Belichick Shares 2 Things He Can’t Develop A Taste For

Head coach Bill Belichick is a man of a few words, and he has always been an intriguing character for NFL fans. The Patriots head coach doesn’t really talk about his private life or preference. But, he does talk about the things he doesn’t like. Believe it or not, the legendary Bill Belichick doesn’t have a taste for two common things.

Coffee and scotch!

This came like a surprise to many fans. Who doesn’t like coffee?

Belichick was in a good mood following the 30-27 win over the New York Jets. He talked about the team’s performance and some other football-related questions. The Patriots head coach surprised everyone with his comments on the things he doesn’t like.

Coach B doesn’t like coffee at all. He doesn’t like anything that’s related to coffee or tastes like coffee. Simple as that.

“I mean, look, I understand I’m probably missing it, but I don’t like coffee,” Belichick said. “Can’t stand the smell of coffee. I don’t like coffee ice cream, and I like every sweet that has ever been made. Don’t know. I just don’t have a taste for it. I’ve tried, but it just doesn’t work for me. My grandmother put a glass of milk and poured, like, probably a thimble of coffee in it, and I couldn’t even drink that. It’s just one of those things. I just didn’t develop the taste for it. Didn’t develop a taste for scotch, either. I tried that, but I just couldn’t develop a taste for it. Nothing against coffee, nothing against Dunkin’ Donuts, nothing against anything. It’s just not for me.”

We all know that Belichick works a lot. How does he “survive” those long days and his packed schedule?

Millions of people use coffee to wake up and live a normal life. Belichick doesn’t need any of that. He doesn’t need caffeine to win games. He doesn’t need a power potion to win Super Bowls either. What can we say? The man is a legend and the NFL world respects him and his work on the field.
