Colin Cowherd Sums Up Patriots Win Over Ravens In Three Words

The New England Patriots had an incredible game against the Baltimore Ravens. It was an unexpected win for head coach Bill Belichick, Josh McDaniels, and Co., and Patriots players celebrated in a brilliant way. Colin Cowherd had the perfect explanation for the Patriots and their success against the Ravens.

The Patriots had 173 rushing yards in the 23-17 win over the Ravens. This was the second-most rushing yards Baltimore has given up in a regular-season game in 2020. New England had a successful defensive performance and made a 4-5 record in the season.

Colin Cowherd shares his take on the Patriots vs Ravens game

Mother Nature helped Belichick’s team. Baltimore had to play in the pouring rain and heavy wings. According to Cowherd, New England didn’t even need to worry about the bad weather.

“Perfect Patriots weather,” Cowherd said on FS1’s “The Herd.” “It’s pretty simple: The Patriots this year, 4-1 when they rush 35 times or more, 0-4 when they don’t. So, when the weather’s like this and nobody can throw the ball that effectively, this is what New England’s built for. Regardless, I don’t think Cam (Newton)’s the answer. They’ve got to get quarterback fixed and they have got to get faster offensively. They’ve got to get faster at tight end.”

Patriots players will not have the same weather at NRG Stadium. But, they won’t need extra help in their game against the Houston Texans. Veteran quarterback Cam Newton and his teammates will play their best running game on Sunday. Houston allows the most rushing yards per game this season. This will definitely help the New England Patriots.

New England plans to celebrate another win and this potential victory will help players reach .500. Former safety Rodney Harrison praised coach Belichick’s job in Week 10, and he does hope to see the same performance in Week 11.

Coach Belichick has made some necessary rotations and his roster moves seem to be really helpful at the moment. New England elevates some players of the practice unit to replace injured players. Veteran wideout Julian Edelman ended up on injured reserve, and New England has yet to make a decision on his status.
