JaVale McGee Sends Emotional Goodbye to Lakers Nation as he Signs Out of LA

The Los Angeles Lakers decided to trade some of their players in order to get big names. LeBron James will be leading the way for his team in the upcoming season. He will receive a lot of help from Dennis Schroder, Marc Gasol, Anthony Davis, Wesley Matthews, Montrezl Harrell, and many others. Veteran center JaVale McGee won’t be around as he sent his last goodbye to the Lakers nation.

Los Angeles traded the veteran to the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to get Gasol. McGee had a big role in the Lakers’ bid for a title. The 32-year-old took to his Instagram account to thank the team for letting him play and be a starting center on the championship-winning team.

“I want to thank Rob Pelinka and @jeaniebuss for the opportunity to be the starting center of the World Champion @lakers for the past two years. We set out w/ one goal in mind and accomplished it! I’m excited for this new journey w/ the @cavs and can’t wait to bring the pedigree and caliber of play to the city of Cleveland that the fans will be proud of! Pierre 3Xs signing out!”

JaVale McGee to join the Cavs following his goodbye message to the Lakers

McGee was brilliant player this past season. He joined the starting lineup in all 68 regular-season games he played in. The talented player is averaging 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.

It’s time for a change, and McGee will play with a new team. He willl start off a new chapter with the young Cavaliers team.

Lakers players are on their way to win another title. The roster is packed with talent, and this Lakers team looks much better than the 2019-20 team.

The new season will start Dec. 22, and the Lakers will try to win games despite the shortest offseason in team history. LeBron is an optimist, and the same applies to his new teammates. Gasol believes he is a good fit for the Los Angeles Lakers, and he will defintiely play well alongside LeBron and Davis. He will spend a lot of time with both superstars on the court.
