Warriors to provide update on Klay Thompson and his injury
It’s a rather unfortunate situation for the Warriors superstar. The Golden State hoped to have Thompson back on the basketball court this season.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was among the many to react to Thompson’s injury. The four-time NBA champion took to his Twitter to deliver a message of support for the superstar.
Thomspon hasn’t played a regular-season game in more than a hear. He tore his ACL at the end of the 2019 postseason. Let’s not forget that the brilliant player finished his throws with a torn ACL. It’s the best proof you will ever get about his greatness.
The Golden State Warriors have the No.2 overall pick in the NBA draft scheduled on Wednesday night.
The coronavirus pandemic has affected the world of sports, and the NBA will probably introduce new protocols. NFL teams were informed about the intensive COVID-19 protocols. The NBA will probably have similar approach to the situation. Players had to travel all the way to Orlando and live inside a bubble to finish the regular season. Some of them returned home and the others entered the postseason.
The Golden State didn’t have too much luck this season, and they didn’t even look like the team that almost won the 2018-19 season.
Hopefully, Thompson’s results won’t affect his performance. The Golden State needs him.
