LaVar Ball Has Insane Reason Why Lakers Should Send Him Thank You Card For 2020 NBA Title

LaVar Ball has something to say about the Los Angeles Lakers and their 2020 NBA championship win. Well, let’s just say that the man knows how to attract everyone’s attention. Every statement he makes comes like a surprise to many NBA fans. Remember what happened in July 2019? The Los Angeles Lakers traded Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round draft picks to the New Orleans Pelicans in order to get Anthony Davis.

LaVar had an expected reaction to the trade. Lonzo’s controversial father followed the situation. He was far from happy to see his son leave the Lakers. Moreover, he believes that the team should thank him for the championship win.

“Heck no,” the elder Ball said on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay, when asked if he was impressed with the Lakers. “They in the bubble. They’re in the bubble and all this stuff goes right. Like I told them, they need to send me a Thank You card on the fact that I gave incentive to win. I said they’d never ever, ever, ever win. You know they was talking about that the whole year. What did you say last year that somebody remembers? That’s how I be living in people’s heads…just so they can say, ‘I told you that you was wrong.’ I still go to bed, take me a nap, eat my donuts and I don’t think about nothing. They’ve been thinking about this for a whole year.”

LaVar Ball has one problem with the Lakers and their 2020 title

The Lakers selected Lonzo with the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Many thought he would become a superstar and even a Hall of Famer. He is the son of LaVar Ball after all. LaVar was hyping his son throughout the entire process. Well, younger Ball failed to meet the expectations. He didn’t play too well in his season with the Lakers.

Three years later, Lonzo showed some improvement. He may develop into a superstar. His father can’t get over the fact that his son is no longer a Laker.

The Lakers are off to another great season, and this time they have more stars on the roster.
