LeBron James Reacts To Lakers Officially Signing Dennis Schroder

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had something to say about the signing of former Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder. The four-time NBA  champion took to his social media to give Schroder a warm welcome. LeBron knows how to recognize greatness, and he is more than excited to share the court with his new teammate.

The Lakers traded veteran Danny Green and the 28th overall pick in the NBA draft for Schroder. Los Angeles and Oklahoma agreed to a deal in principle on Sunday. Schroder is officially a Laker now.

Schroder will reduce a big portion of LeBron’s workload. He has a much-needed speed in the open court. This allows the German native a chance to push the pace. He is definitely a strong scoring threat. Schroder can hit the open man, hit 3-pointers, and play good defense. In other words, Schroder will give the Lakers a reliable third scoring option and a second player who can run fast break along with King James.

In 2019-20, Schroder scored 18.9 points per game on 46.9 percent shooting from the field. The talented player also shot 38.5 percent from deep.

LeBron James to get a lot of help from Dennis Schroder

The Los Angeles Lakers are pretty serious about their title defense. Will the team add more talent around LeBron and big man Anthony Davis? Of course, they have to make sure Davis stays on the roster.

Green left the team, and Los Angeles needs a 3-and-D wing player. According to recent reports, the team has shown interest in free agent Wesley Matthews. He looks like the perfect replacement for Green.

The Los Angeles Lakers were linked with several superstars, including Chris Paul. From what we can see, they will probably avoid signing big names and focus on rising stars.

LeBron plans to win his fifth ring in his third season with the Lakers. He received a lot of help from his teammates in 2019-20. Lakers players had a taste of victory, and they can’t get enough of it now. The 2020-21 season will start on Dec. 22, and LA players don’t have too much time to prepare for it. But, NBA analysts are optimists about their performance.
