LeBron James Reacts to Lakers Signing Montrezl Harrell

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has a new teammate, and he is more than excited to share the floor with big man Montrezl Harrell. The Los Angeles offered the former Clippers star a two-year deal and Harrell was happy to accept it. From what we can see, LeBron approves the new addition.

The four-time NBA champion reacted to the signings of Harrell and Dennis Schroder.

LeBron James excited about Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell

Los Angeles signed the German native through a trade. Veteran Danny Green had to leave the team following a deep postseason run, and the Lakers also traded the 28th overall pick in Wednesday’s NBA draft. According to recent reports, Green was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, but his story hasn’t ended here. Green’s tenure with the Lakers didn’t end well. He received death threats following a missed shot in the series against the Miami Heat.

Schroder gives the Lakers a third scoring option. He is a ball-handling guard who has a nice speed on the open court. NBA analysts believe that Schroder will reduce the workload LeBron deals with.

Harrell is expected to step in as a replacement for Dwight Howard. He was signed away from the city rivals, and the Lakers are receiving a feisty player who provides strong finishes in the paint. Harrell also runs the floor well and attacks boards.

Patrick Beverley had an expected reaction to Harrell’s departure. It was hard for him to believe that such a talented player will leave Kawhi Leonard and the team. The Clippers made the deep postseason but destroyed their 3-1 lead over the Denver Nuggets.

Recent reports confirm that Los Angeles also signed veteran guard Wesley Matthews. He is a successful 3-point shooter and solid defender. Matthews will probably step in as a replacement for Green.

Lakers GM Rob Pelinka won’t stop here. He is expected to make a few more moves this offseason.
