LeBron James Reacts to Viral Throwback Video From His HS Freshman Year

LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers will enter the 2020-21 NBA season in a month, and the GOAT got to remember some of the kindest memories from his freshman year.

The four-time NBA champion enjoys his time home. NBA players were away from their families for a few months, and LeBron really missed his loved ones. He even took to social media to deliver a message for his lovely mom Gloria.

King James shared a video of his early days at St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron. He was 15 back them and he was already a freshman phenomenon. It took really short before LeBron became the poster child of modern basketball. He was an excellent student-athlete who had found the perfect balance between education and sports. The Chosen One impressed basketball names across the league and many predicted a bright future for him. It was more than obvious that the kid from Akron would take over the NBA by storm.

LeBron James was a star in his freshman year

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected LeBron with the first pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Before becoming a Cavalier, LeBron honed his wares and decided to put his small-time high school high on basketball lists.

Great LeBron was the alpha male of Fab Five. Dru Joyce III, Sean Cotton, Willie McGee, and Romeo Travis were the other members of the group. LeBron’s school won three state titles in four years and the success was well documented in the 2008 feature film More Than a Game.

The video also shows parts of LeBron’s short football career in high school. He was wide receiver in high school, and many believe he would have been a lottery pick had he joined the NFL.

The 36-year-old made a decision back then and it was one of the best decisions he has ever made in his life. He won four NBA titles and is off to winning the fifth ring. LeBron is doing his best to keep his high-school kid on the right track, teaching him all the great stuff about basketball. Bronny plays really well, and LeBron is really proud of him.
