NFL Experts Made Their Predictions For Sunday’s Patriots vs Cardinals Game

The New England Patriots don’t really have a chance to welcome the Arizona Cardinals and win the game. New England has made some mistakes this season, and the team sits outside the playoff picture. But we all know that Bill Belichick is the best coach in the NFL. In other words, the legendary coach can push the team to the playoffs. New England lost the game to the Houston Texans, and some experts shut down every possibility to see the Patriots in the playoffs.

CBS Sports’ projected postseason model gives New England a 5.8 percent chance of making the playoffs. Well, guess what… The Patriots can recover really fast.

What happened last Sunday? The Texans found a way to defeat the Patriots. But, let’s not forget that New England marched to the 1994 playoffs after a disappointing 3-6 start to the regular season. There’s still enough room for optimism, and the Patriots can definitely ran the table.

Experts are worried about Patriots vs Cardinals game

Benjamin Hoffman from New York Times made a bold prediction. Can you make any guesses?

“As recently as last season, a visit from a first- or second-year quarterback to Foxborough, Mass., could be marked down as a win for New England before kickoff. That mastery of young quarterbacks has fallen away this year, and Kyler Murray and the Cardinals (6-4) head into New England as favorites. Arizona hasn’t been a dependable performer, but the Patriots (4-6) struggle far more to be competitive on a week-to-week basis.”

Pete Prisco from CBS Sports predicts a win for the Cardinals.

He said, “The Cardinals are coming off a bad showing at Seattle last week. This will be a long trip to try and get that bad offensive showing out of their system. But the Patriots defense hasn’t been good this season, and it won’t be here. Kyler Murray gets the better of Cam Newton.”

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk shares the same opinion. He predicted a 24-17 win for the Cardinals. According to him, the Patriots will have a hard time stopping Kyler Murray. They couldn’t stop Deshaun Watson and this may be a problem on Sunday too.

Michael David Smith from Pro Football Talk believes that the Patriots Defense won’t be able to slow down Murray and his teammates, predicting an easy win for Arizona.
