Quinn Cook Delivered Sad 2-Word Response to Lakers Waiving Him

The Los Angeles Lakers waived guard Quinn Cook on Thursday. It was one of the many decisions LA made this offseason. Cook will definitely find another home in the NBA, but he was pretty sad to leave the Lakers.

The guard took to his Twitter account to express his sadness about being waived by the Lakers. He posted a tribute to his late father. His dad was a diehard Lakers fan.

Cook was more than proud to celebrate his win with the Lakers. He won a ring with his father’s favorite team. It was a great accomplishment for the talented player, and he even took to his social media to post a tribute to his dad.

Lakers fans will have a hard time accepting Cook’s departure. He was a favorite in the locker room and Lakers players liked him. But, he has to go now and signing a new contract will be a priority right now.

Quinn Cook and other players to be replaced by the Lakers

Seeing Cook go means just one thing. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka is off to pulling out another offseason move. The Lakers will get a few new players by the end of the offseason. They have the shortest offseason in team history, and Pelinka has to act fast. The team has been linked with several superstars DeMar DeRozan, Chris Paul, and many others.

LA has already acquired Oklahoma City Thunder star Dennis Schroder. He will be a good fit for the Lakers, and LeBron James is super excited to play with him. The four-time NBA champion was excited about his pairing with Schroder before last year’s trade deadline. Oklahoma didn’t let him go, and fans sort of forgot the issue. The Schroder topic was open again, and his deal with the Lakers is now official. LA traded Danny Green and a draft pick to get Schroder. It’s one of the many offseason moves for LA, and NBA analysts have made some predictions regarding the next move. Who is the next player to join the defending champions? It may not be a superstar though. LA has enough cap space but they may not sign someone like DeRozan.
