According to latest reports, Gasol will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. You didn’t see this coming, right? Well, Los Angeles General Manager Rob Pelinka has been hunting for superstars. The front office has already signed a few big names and they won’t stop here.

The 25-year-old decided to chose the Lakers for one big reason. They are champions. Los Angeles won the title in Orlando, and the roster is stronger than ever right now. The Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers, and Dallas Mavericks showed great interest in signing Gasol.

It looks like LA will trade veteran center JaVale McGee to Cleveland to bring Gasol in LA. Cavs will trade Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie to Los Angeles in the Gasol deal.

Los Angeles had a wild offseason. The team has signed Gasol, Montrezl Harrell, Wesley Matthews, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. They traded Danny Green to get Dennis Schroder.
