San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan is one of the many superstars involved in the potential trade to the Los Angeles Lakers. NBA analysts believe that DeRozan is the third superstar LA needs at the moment. The team won the 2020 NBA championship, and they plan to do the same next season.

DeRozan had a simple response to all the rumors about him signing with Rob Pelinka. The superstar guard appeared on the “All the Spoke” podcast to discuss his current situation. According to him, any NBA team can get him. He seems to like the idea of playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Recent rumors suggest that DeRozan wants to be traded away from his current team. He joined the 2018 Spurs through a trade deal that sent Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors.

DeRozan wasn’t really enjoying his time with the Spurs, but his performance was pretty consistent. He suited up for 68 regular-season games, averaging 22.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game with the Spurs.

Los Angeles has LeBron and Davis starting at forward. If acquired, DeRozan will probably become shooting guard. He has had this role for quite some time.

DeRozan has a player option for the upcoming season. Some say he will probably pick it up. If he doesn’t, DeRozan will become an unrestricted free agent. Will the Lakers be able to fit his contract within their salary cap? They may reach an agreement, but their salary cap is definitely a reason for concern.
