Cam Newton has a hilarious nickname for each of his teammates

Dolegala took part in the up-and-down game of the practice squad with the team since head coach Bill Belichick brought him on the roster two months ago. He also helped the team get ready for Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks.

Dolegala isn’t as mobile as Wilson. However, he moves better than most 6 foot 7 quarterbacks. He suffered a lot of injuries during his time at Central Connecticut. He was undrafted, but the Cincinnati Bengals signed him after the 2019 NFL Draft. The team drafted Joe Burrow as No. 1 overall out of LSU, so they didn’t have room for Dolegala. He had to go.

New England had Dolegala in practices for weeks. However, they released him from the PS and then brought him back. Coach Belichick really likes Dolegala and actually praised his talents.

Reporters asked Newton about Dolegala durign a live stream on Thursday. He used the opportunity to reveal his nickname for the talented player.

Newton has a nickname for each of his teammates. Dolegala is “State Farm.” The reporter asked Newton about the Patriots quarterback unit and mentioned him, Jarrett Stidham, and Brian Hoyer. The 2015 NFL MVP said, “we can’t forget about ‘State Farm.’”
