Dennis Schroder Reveals What ‘Crazy Things’ He Already Seen From LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is a brilliant player, and he has been teaching players to become better on the basketball court. LeBron has been part of the NBA family for 17 years. He has won four titles and four NBA Finals MVP awards. If you ask newly-acquired Lakers player Dennis Schroder, he will say that the great LeBron James is his role model. Schroder is motivated to play his best basketball. Seeing LeBron do his magic on the floor has helped players in their mission.

Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka signed the German native last month. He was playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and now he will be working with head coach Frank Vogel. Playing alongside King James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the guys is really great, and Schroder can’t wait to see some action.

“Yes, 18 years, I don’t know what to say,” Schroder indicated. “He’s (James) still one of the hardest working guys in this building. He’s here early, leaving late. It’s just crazy to see. But to be around him, his presence, just how he practices, even off-the-court stuff. What I’ve seen so far, treatment, all that stuff, I just try to get better at [it] myself. So, I think he’s a big role model for everyone here.

“To see that he’s doing it for 18 years on the biggest stage and didn’t slow down yet. So, everybody’s watching him, trying to get better each day as well.”

In the 2019-20 season, Schroder was averaging 18.9 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds. The 27-year-old was in his second year with the Thunder and spent the first five years of his season with the Atlanta Hawks.

LeBron and AD did a wonderful job inside the Orlando bubble. It’s more than obvious that they will replicate the performance or even do much better.

Schroder is well aware of the fact that LeBron has played a lot of games in his long NBA career. He has won a title with three different teams. That’s not something you underestimate.
