Fans Clown The Clippers After Preseason Loss To Lakers

The Los Angeles Clippers didn’t really have luck against their city rivals. They met the Lakers in the preseason opener and things got as bad as they could ever go. Yes, the Clippers did have a slight advantage over the Lakers and enjoyed a small lead at one point of the game. However, they lost to the Lakers bench. Oh, let’s not forget that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George played, too. It was a big spectacle, and NBA fans now clown the Clippers.

In the very first preseason game of the year, the Clippers had both Kawhi and George on the floor and ended up losing to their toughest opponent who was playing without its superstars. How about that?

Kawhi’s team lost by six points to the Lakers. This wasn’t the best start Clippers fans imagined.

Social media exploded with jokes on their terrible loss. Oh, the same people didn’t forget to congratulate Talen Horton-Tucker on his incredible night. He finished the game with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

So, let’s remind everyone that the Lakers played without LeBron, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Markieff Morris.

Fans clown Clippers for poor performance

Kawhi and George played 14 minutes each, finishing with a combined 13 points. Of course, this game may not be the best indicator of how the 2020-21 NBA season will develop. But, it’s definitely a sign. The Clippers can’t get any near their city rivals. How will things go once LeBron and AD join their teammates?

This was another proof that the Lakers deserve the title they won in Orlando. They made the top of the West this past season and they will do the same again. If the Clippers want to win more games, their superstars will have to play much better than they did Friday.

When it comes to the Lakers, the only concern they had was Alex Caruso. The rising star suffered a hip flexor during the game and didn’t play in the second half. According to multiple sources, his injury is not that bad and he won’t miss time on the floor.
